Biography

Michael Roth is a Metadata and Digital Collections Specialist with over seven years of experience in academic libraries and archival environments. His work spans descriptive metadata creation, digital preservation workflows, archival arrangement and description, and Digital Humanities project support at institutions including New Mexico State University Libraries, the Smithsonian's Archives of American Art, and George Mason University.

He holds an MA in Applied History (2017) and a Graduate Certificate in Digital Public Humanities (2017) from George Mason University, and an MA in Education with an emphasis in Multimedia (2011) and a BA in History (2007) from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. His research and professional work have been presented at the Association for Computers and the Humanities Conference and through the Association of Research Libraries.
