This series contains the full texts of theatre reviews. New York Theatre Critics' Reviews contains reviews published between 1943 and 1994. National Theatre Critics' Reviews contains reviews from 1995 to the present. The most-recent volumes are in the Zuhl Library reference area (lst floor). Older volumes are on the third floor of Zuhl Library.

This long-running index provides citations to reviews published in popular U.S. magazines. To find citations to reviews, look under the playwright's name. The most recent volumes of Readers' Guide are on the reference index tables near the Zuhl Library reference desk (lst floor). Older volumes are on shelves against the nearby wall. Readers' Guide provides indexing from the beginning of the twentieth century to the present.
You can use this index (located in the Zuhl Library periodicals room) to get citations to theatre reviews published in the New York Times newspaper. Look under the subject heading Theater, and under that heading look for the title of the play you are researching. Once you have a citation to a review, you can find the review itself on the microfilm New York Times, which is also located in the Zuhl Library periodicals room. New York Times Newspaper Index provides indexing from 1857 to the present.
