GEOBASE  - Records covering the worldwide literature on geology, geography, and ecology. Coverage: 1980-present. Available via FirstSearch.

GeoRef  - Produced by the American Geological Institute, this database provides access to material in geology and the earth sciences. Coverage: 1785-present. Available via FirstSearch. 

Web of Science - Provides an additional access point to the popular citation databases Science Citation Index and Social Science Citation Index. Coverage 1985-present.

EnergyFiles – “over 500 databases and Web sites containing information and resources pertaining to science and technology of interest to the Department of Energy, with an emphasis on the physical sciences.”

INFOMINE – “a virtual library of Internet resources relevant to faculty, students, and research staff at the university level. It contains useful Internet resources such as databases, electronic journals, electronic books, bulletin boards, mailing lists, online library card catalogs, articles, directories of researchers, and many other types of information.”

Scirus – “Scirus is the most comprehensive science-specific search engine on the Internet. Driven by the latest search engine technology, Scirus searches over 450 million science-specific Web pages”

Geoscience eJournals - peer-reviewed electronic journals dedicated to open access publishing in the field of Earth Sciences (geochemistry, geophysics, paleontology, regional geology, stratigraphy, geography, etc.), that is those e-journals that permit free online access to all or at least a major part of their current issue and/or archives.

National Geophysical Data Center – “provides scientific stewardship, products, and services for geophysical data from the Sun to the Earth and Earth's sea floor and solid earth environment, including Earth observations from space.”

Earth Science World Image Bank – “a service provided by the American Geological Institute (AGI). This Image Bank is designed to provide quality geoscience images to the public, educators, and the geoscience community."
