About This SiteWelcome to the New Mexico Rangelands web site! It was developed by an interdisciplinary team at New Mexico State University. We are a partner in the Rangelands of the Western U.S., a collaborative effort among Western Land Grant Universities to create an electronic network that provides access to selective sources of information in range science. This site is maintained by Cindy Watkins, Reference Librarian, with assistance from rangeland experts in the Department of Animal and Range Sciences. Mission and ScopeOur mission is to provide electronic access to grazing land information and rangeland management resources related to New Mexico. Rangelands are a type of land that can include woodlands, grasslands and grasslands with scattered trees and shrubs.
