FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Las Cruces, NM.
There are more than 1,833,000 volumes housed at the NMSU Library. Additionally, the Library provides access to government documents, digital collections, rare books, archival materials, and more than 160,000 e-books. However, we don’t always have the material you need for your research in-house. If you require journals, books, videos, and audio materials that are unavailable at the NMSU Library, you can use the Library’s “Request It!” service to borrow materials from libraries around the globe. Materials will be available for pick-up at the Zuhl Service Desk and journal articles will be delivered straight to your inbox.
When you identify material that is vital to your research and you think it belongs on the shelves at NMSU Library, you can “Suggest a Purchase.” Current NMSU students, faculty, and staff may use a quick online form to describe the research material they would like the NMSU Library to purchase. If the material aligns with the Library’s Collection Development Principles and funding is available, the Library will consider purchasing it. Please note that not all suggestions will result in a purchase.
The NMSU Library aims to get you the journals, books, and other research materials you need quickly. For questions or more information about Delivery Services or “Suggest a Purchase,” please contact Mariaelena De La Rosa, NMSU Library Collections Coordinator, at email@example.com or (575) 646-6087.
