The NMSU Library announces a day-long training session on organizing metadata. The free “Metadata Days” workshop is targeted to libraries, museums and other cultural institutions in the border region who are interested in building digital collections. It will be held on Friday, March 26, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Room 123 of Zuhl Library.
The workshop, presented by Ingrid Schneider of the NMSU Library and Rebecca Lubas and Amy Jackson of the University of New Mexico Libraries, will provide basic training and information on best practices in the use of metadata and the Dublin Core standard.
