Important! - Your thesis or dissertation must be approved by the thesis or dissertation committee and the Graduate Dean to be considered a final document at which point no changes can be made by the author.

  1. Pay the binding fee at the cashier's office in the Educational Services Center, next to the Pan Am Center (575)646-3927. (Keep your binding receipt)
    • Binding Fees:
      • 3 copies - $38.50
      • 4 copies - $48.50, (required by molecular biology students)
    • Binding of Personal Copies, (personal copies can be insured for an additional $3.00 per copy)
  2. Submit the following to NMSU Branson Library Service Desk - "Delivery Options" below
    • The Library Thesis/Dissertation Binding Form
    • 3 (or 4) unbound, edited, approved, and signed copies of your thesis/dissertation on 25%, 50% or 100% white cotton WATERMARKED bond paper with a plain finish. Copies submitted without the watermark are not acceptable!
    • Completed "Signature Page" signed by the Graduate School Dean and Examining Committee Chair person
    • CDs or DVDs need to have your name on them
    • Maps should not be folded, (the bindery will fold them)
  3. Doctoral students must also submit the following:
    • Completed UMI Dissertation Agreement
      • Submit a copy of your Disseration Agreement Submission details to Branson Library. (ProQuest submission details can be accessed through your confirmation email after you have completed your submission.)
  4. Embargo Information (Optional)
