Connecting from Off-Campus
Connecting to the Library's Article Databases
and Electronic
Journals from Off-Campus
Off-campus access to the Library's Article
Databases and Journals is restricted to NMSU Main campus faculty, students
and staff.
To connect to these from off-campus, you need to
validate that you are an NMSU Main campus student, faculty or staff member.
When you click on the resource that you want to use, you will see the following
Proxy Validation box.
Instructions:
1. Enter your NMSU Username in the box.
2. Enter your NMSU Password in the box.
3. Click Validate.
( * The NMSU Username is the same one you use to access the my.nmsu.edu system.)
You will then be connected to the database or journal
you selected.
Please Note: You only need to validate once
per browser session.
AOL Users: You may make your internet connection using AOL, but then minimize the AOL browser and use Internet Explorer or Netscape to connect to the Library's Article Databases and Journals.
