New Mexico State University Library employees who take advantage of tuition remission benefits will not be required to make up time (6 hours per fall and spring semester, 4 hours each summer term) spent away from their work station.


New Mexico State University encourages all regular employees to engage in life-long learning to enhance their careers by taking advantage of the program below:

    Tuition Remission: With appropriate administrative approval from current employer/supervisor, regular employees with a .50 FTE or greater position are entitled to take course(s) totaling no more than six credits (supported by regular I&G funding) per semester (four credits each summer).
