The New Mexico Consortium of Academic Libraries (NMCAL):

- Provides academic libraries in New Mexico a forum for
  the discussion of common goals, issues, and a venue
  for networking.

- Facilitates the sharing of resources, access to
  services, and information which benefit all those served
  by New Mexico academic libraries.

- Encourage partnerships which strengthen and build
  stronger academic libraries in New Mexico.
