LIB 301
Library Research

LIB 301 provides an introduction to the production of information within a particular academic discipline or field; formal and informal modes of scholarly communication; essential databases, reference sources, and search strategies; criteria for evaluating information sources; and citation formats.

It is a 2 credit, partial term course, meeting over the first 8 weeks of the academic semester. LIB 301 can be offered in-person, or via distance education.
