 Introduction to Information Literacy
in an Electronic Environment

Introduction to Information Literacy in an Electronic Environment provides an introduction to the basics of the research process; the organization, location, and evaluation of information using print, non-print and electronic resources; and techniques of effective personal information management in a computerized setting. Uses a combination of active and hands-on learning methods as well as lectures.

LIB 111G counts as 3 credits toward the Critical Thinking/Analysis Requirement (item D) under Part I (Developing Critical Thinking and Modes of Expression) of the NMSU General Education Requirements.

LIB 111G is offered on Main Campus, as well as at the NMSU Branch campuses. It can be offered in-person, or via distance education.
