Reference Sources
Print Reference books
The NMSU Library has a collection of reference sources both in print and online. To find print reference books, search the NMSU Library catalog. Use the combined keywords search with the word “encyclopedia”, or “dictionary”, and your topic; e.g., encyclopedia AND ecology. Use the SET LIMITS function on that page and limit the location to Reference Non-Circulating.
Electronic Reference Books
The NMSU Library subscribes to reference books with full text online. Remote access to these licensed databases is limited to NMSU faculty, staff and students. Off-campus, use the proxy server. For help, visit the Zuhl Library Reference desk, call 646-5792 or Toll Free (866)-835-9826 or send your question using the web reference form.
