Technical Services Support Unit

The Technical Services Support Unit consists of one librarian and one professional staff member and we support the other units of the Technical Services Department.

The Unit does some cataloging, the department and collection statistics, helps Department staff with OCLC and Macro Express questions, maintains the Department web pages, and provides Voyager Support within the Department for the Cataloging and Acquisition clients. We also provide OCLC and Voyager support to library staff outside of the Technical Services Department. The Unit also does authority control and database maintenance for the NMSU Library and for the two branch campuses with whom we share the Voyager system, NMSU-Alamogordo and Dona Ana Branch Community College.
