  • NMSU Archives (Hobson-Huntsinger University Archives)

    Selects, preserves, houses, and makes accessible all records of enduring value created by administrators, faculty, students and alumni of New Mexico State University. Through its programs the University Archives seeks to illuminate the history, evolution, and societal role of the institution.

  • Political Papers Archives

    Currently houses the papers of Senator Pete V. Domenici. Processing of material in this collection began after August 2008 and due to the size of the collection, will take six years or more to process. Once the work is complete, the collection will be open to researchers.

    • Senator Pete V. Domenici Archives - The senator served in the U.S. Senate for 36 years, retiring at the end of his sixth term in January 2009. He served as chairman of several powerful Senate Committees, including the Budget Committee, and as a ranking member of others throughout his career.
  • Reprographics/Digital Duplication

    Is responsible for the fulfilling of any internal and external reproduction requests of our photographic and audio-visual collections. We also work with our archivists and section heads in the conservation and cataloguing of any photographic materials and audio and video recordings that need to be added to our collections.

  • Rio Grande Historical Collections (RGHC)

    Acquires, preserves, and makes available for research records of organizations, personal papers, and other unpublished materials which document the cultural heritage and history of New Mexico and the Spanish Borderlands.

  • Special Collections

    Houses the department’s published research materials including books, periodicals, maps and newspapers. The most heavily used of these materials relate to the history, culture, peoples, and resources of New Mexico; the broader Southwest and the Borderlands; and materials supporting specialized University programs.

9:00am - 4:00pm Monday-Friday
