FAQs

  • I need to find some articles on a particular subject. Where do I begin?
A good place to start is through our Article Databases. For information on accessing articles, ask at the Periodicals or Reference service desks.
  • Where are the older journal issues?
Older volumes are housed in each library, in call # order. They are either bound and become part of the circulating collection or are part of the microform collection on the first floor of Branson Library.
  • Can I check out a current issue?
It depends on your status and corresponding borrowing privileges, see "Circulation Loan Periods". A scanner or a copy machine is available if needed.
  • Where can I purchase a copy card?
From either card dispenser located near the copy center in Zuhl Library and by the Circulation Desk in Branson.
  • I found an article source, but the library doesn't own this journal. What can I do?
You may be eligible to order it through Interlibrary Loan.
  • Where do I get the pages I printed out from one of the library's public workstations?
In Branson the printer is located in the central lobby area, while Zuhl's is located in the Reference area. You will need a copy card or cash to generate the copies at either location.
