Policy:
New Mexico State University Library maintains established building hours as specified below. Exception: Building hours may vary due to emergency or safety situations.
Procedures/Comments:
- Regular library hours adjusted for interim sessions, spring breaks, final exam weeks, and University holidays.
- Building hours may be reduced the day before the library is closed.
- All library hours are posted on the library building hours page.
- Early closings may occur to respond to public health and safety issues. Authorization by University Administration [President, Provost, NMSU Police or Fire Department] or Dean/Associate Dean of the Library is required for early closing.
- Access Services staff is responsible for publishing and posting building hours.
