Vicki Minnick Receives Library Scholarship

Vicki Minnick of the New Mexico State University Library has been awarded the 2006 Marion Dorrah Scholarship of the New Mexico Library Association. She received the $2,000 scholarship at the recent annual conference of the Association.

Minnick, who works in the NMSU Library's Access Services department, is pursuing a master's degree in library and information science through the University of North Texas online program.

Each year, the $2,000 scholarship is given to a library school student residing in New Mexico. Selection criteria include scholarship and potential contributions to the profession in the state.
