Library Valentine's Day Program Features Reading of Love Letters

"The One Who Dwells in My Heart," a reading of love letters from the New Mexico State University Library's Rio Grande Historical Collections, will take place on Tuesday, February 14, 2006, at 4 p.m. The event, which is free to the public, will take place on the 4th floor of the Branson Library.

The letters are from various different collections including the Amador family papers, Anne Bucher family papers, Wallace Perry papers and the Foster Smith family papers, and they date from 1886 into the 1950s. The event will also feature harp and flute music of Mozart, to be performed by Mardi Mahaffy and Molly Molloy of the Library staff.
