NMSU Library Has New Sociology Database

The NMSU Library now subscribes to SocINDEX, a recently launched online sociology database. Most of its 1.3 million records provide abstracts for journal articles, but books, monographs and conference papers are also indexed. If the Library subscribes to electronic versions of retrieved articles, links to the full text are provided. To access SocINDEX, click on the "Find Articles" link from the Library's home page at http://lib.nmsu.edu.

In addition to sociology, SocINDEX is useful for research in related disciplines such as anthropology, criminology, demography, economic development, ethnic and racial studies, gender studies, marriage and family, politics, religion, social psychology, social structure, social work and urban studies.
