Rio Grande Historical Collections to Meet

The New Mexico State University Library's Rio Grande Historical Collections will hold its annual meeting on Wednesday, March 28, 2007, at the New Mexico Farm and Ranch Heritage Museum. The public is invited.

Registration begins at 9:30 a.m., with complimentary Starbuck's coffee and pastries. The program will begin at 10 a.m. in the museum's auditorium. David A. DeWitt of Sunbelt Shows, Inc., and the NMSU Chile Pepper Institute, is the guest speaker. In addition, presentations by staff members of the NMSU Library's Archives & Special Collections Department will focus on the accomplishments of the Rio Grande Historical Collections since the previous annual meeting.

Following the program, attendees may join the RGHC for lunch in the museum's restaurant. The Chuck Wagon Buffet, which features beef and chicken entrees with a variety of side dishes, is $15 per person.
