New Mexico Library Association Announces Mini-Conference

The New Mexico Library Association announces that its annual mini-conference will be held in Socorro at New Mexico Tech's Macey Center on October 16 and 17. This year's theme, "Reading and Researching," focuses on all aspects of these activities in libraries.

Sessions include "Learning Connections Center: Transforming a Traditional Reference Area into Collaborative Learning Spaces," "Documenting and Preserving Everyday Voices in the Digital Age," "Researching Native American Health Information" and "Librarians in Second Life." Mini-conference sponsors are Follett Library Resources, David McPhee/Mackin Library Media, Perma-Bound Books and The Wilkins Group.
