Librarians Create Guide to Sustainability
Do you need information on straw bale solar homes or the slow food movement? Or would you like to sign up for a daily feed from your favorite green blog?
NMSU Library reference librarians Paula Johnson and Sylvia Ortiz have created an online library guide (LibGuide) entitled NMSU's Year of Sustainability-Resources (Green Science & News). The guide is intended as a resource for all members of the campus and local community to locate the "best of the best" web sites on sustainable development.
Ortiz said, "The University Library hopes to be a campus leader during this Year of Sustainability."
The guide is appropriate for all ages. It contains eight sections, including "green science," "food and living," "activism" and "for kids." Visit http://nmsu.libguides.com/green to explore the many interesting and fun ways to go green and help improve the world.
For more information, contact Johnson at (575) 646-7251 or paulacj@lib.nmsu.edu or Ortiz at (575) 646-7481 or sortiz@lib.nmsu.edu.
