Hunner to Speak on the Great Depression and New Mexico
The New Mexico State University Library announces that NMSU history professor Dr. Jon Hunner will lecture on November 6 on "The Great Depression and New Mexico." The free public program will take place at 4:30 p.m. on the fourth floor east of Branson Library, followed by a reception.
The program is part of the Library's celebration during October and November of the seventy-fifth anniversary of the introduction of the New Deal Arts Projects. In addition to the lecture, exhibits relating to New Deal art and history are on display on the first, second and fourth floors of Branson Library. Many of the project activities were made possible by a grant from NMSU's Southwest and Border Cultures Institute.
