Library Offers Introduction to EndNote Web

The University Library will kick off its Spring Workshop Series this Friday, February 6, from 12 noon - 1 p.m. in the Zuhl Library Classroom. Please email twestbro@lib.nmsu.edu or call 646-3079 if you plan to attend.

Are you looking for a citation management tool? EndNote Web is a free (based on our subscription to ISI Web of Knowledge), Web-based program for collecting and organizing references, managing citations in papers and creating bibliographies. It is compatible with most of the Library's indexes and databases.

EndNote Web allows you to:

import citations, abstracts and links
search and import references from library catalogs
share references with other EndNote Web users
format and export bibliographies
use Cite While Your Write™ in Microsoft® Word to easily cite references in your paper while automatically creating a bibliography

At this workshop you will create an ENW account, learn the basics of importing records and see a demonstration of its compatibility with Microsoft Word.

For more information, contact Theresa Westbrock at twestbro@lib.nmsu.edu or call (575) 646-3079.
