Library Offers EndNote Web Drop-in Sessions

The NMSU Library is offering free instruction on the popular citation management tool EndNote Web throughout March and April. These sessions are open to all interested individuals in the NMSU community. There is no need to register in advance, just drop in. The sessions are scheduled for:

Friday, March 13, 2009, 10:30 a.m.-12:00 noon, Zuhl Library Classroom.
Thursday, March 19, 2009, 3:00 p.m.-4:30 p.m., Zuhl Library Classroom.
Thursday, April 2, 2009, 3:00 p.m.-4:30 p.m., Zuhl Library Classroom.
Thursday, April 16, 2009, 3:00 p.m.-4:30 p.m., Zuhl Library Classroom.
Friday, April 24, 2009, 10:30 a.m.-12:00 noon, Zuhl Library Classroom.

EndNote Web (ENW) is a program for collecting and organizing references, managing citations in papers and creating bibliographies. It is compatible with most of the Library's indexes and databases. It allows users to import citations, abstracts and links and search and import references from library catalogs. The user can also share references with other EndNote Web users, format and export bibliographies and use Cite While Your Write™ in Microsoft® Word to easily cite references in a paper while automatically creating a bibliography.

At these sessions you will create an ENW account, learn the basics of importing records and see a demonstration of ENW's compatibility with Microsoft® Word.
