NMSU Library to Provide Campus Information Table

At the start of classes on Wednesday, August 22, the NMSU Library and NMSU's Office of Student Marketing and Transitions/Student Success will provide a Welcome Week information table. The table, located between Branson and Zuhl libraries, will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

According to organizers Vicki Baldridge and Cindy Pierard, the project is an effort to help better orient students and other newcomers to the NMSU campus.

In past years, Library staff members have answered hundreds of questions to help create a friendly, welcoming environment for students.

NMSU's Office of Student Marketing and Transitions/Student Success is donating bottled water for distribution. Volunteers from the Library staff will provide directions to campus buildings, campus maps and other information.
