Second Library Program on Biodiversity Announced

The New Mexico State University Library is sponsoring a second program on biodiversity this month. The free public program will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, September 24, in Room 225 on the second floor of Zuhl Library. Dr. Brook Milligan from NMSU's Biology Department will present “From Local Butterflies to International Wildlife Trade: Harnessing Genomics to Study Biodiversity.”

The talk, part of the NMSU Library’s continuing celebration of the 2009 Year of Science, will be of interest to high school and college students, as well as the general public. Refreshments will be served. The programs are being organized by science librarians Paula Johnson, Cindy Watkins and Dr. Nirmala Gunapala. For more information, contact the NMSU Library Reference Desk at (575) 646-5792.
