Library Debuts Environmental E-Book Collection

For the next year, the NMSU Library is evaluating ENVIROnetBASE: Environmental Resources Online, a full-text e-book collection of approximately 570 titles. ENVIROnetBASE provides browse and search access to professional and technical texts on topics relating to environmental science, engineering and technology.

The collection supports NMSU's Year of Sustainability initiative.

Specific subjects covered in the collection include ecology and natural history, environmental modeling and systems analysis, environmental and ecological risk assessment, environmental and occupational health and safety, environmental chemistry and toxicology, environmental engineering, environmental law, management and compliance, landscape ecology, remote sensing, GIS, and mapping, resource management and sustainability, turf grass science and engineering, water science, technology and engineering.

The entire contents of the books, all of which are published by CRC Press, are fully searchable. ENVIROnetBASE is accessible from the Library's Articles, Books and Journals Web page at http://lib.nmsu.edu/article.shtml.
