NMSU Library Offers Citation Workshops

Are you looking for a citation management tool? The NMSU Library is offering two workshops on EndNote Web free to members of the NMSU campus community.

The first session will be held Friday, September 5, from noon to 1:00 p.m. The second session will take place on Tuesday, September 9, from noon to 1:00 p.m. Both sessions will take place in the classroom on the first floor of Zuhl Library.

EndNote Web is a web-based program for collecting and organizing references, managing citations in papers and creating bibliographies.

EndNote Web is free to those affiliated with NMSU.

EndNote Web allows the user to:
• import citations, abstracts, and links
• search and import references from library catalogs
• share references with other EndNote Web users
• format and export bibliographies
• use Cite While You Write™ in Microsoft® Word to easily cite references in your paper while automatically creating a bibliography

The workshops are designed to be especially helpful to faculty and graduate students. For more information, contact Theresa Westbrock of the NMSU Library’s reference department at (575) 646-3079 or twestbro@nmsu.edu.
