|Special Conditions:||Full-time--12 month exempt position; must have a valid driver's license and be eligible to qualify for a state motor vehicle operator license.|
Required: Bachelor's degree in a related field; minimum of two years documented successful related experience in fundraising; excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills; willingness to travel; must be able to work in a team setting.
Preferred: A high level of initiative and creativity; ability to manage multiple projects and priorities; strong writing skills; ability to analyze and evaluate information.
Examples of Duties: Reports directly to the Dean of the University Library. Responsibilities include identification, cultivation, solicitation of gifts, and stewardship of gifts from individuals, corporations, and foundations. Represents the University Library at campus development meetings; drafts proposals; organizes development activities and events. Responsible for records management pertaining to donors, donor contacts, etc. Other projects as assigned.
